Senior Design Manager (Environments)

We are looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our award winning multi-disciplinary environments team at Frost*collective, an internationally recognised strategic creative group dedicated to designing a better world. This role is an opportunity to work in an inspiring and friendly creative team who are working on some of the biggest and most iconic city-shaping projects happening right now, which will truly shape the future of some of the biggest cities around the world. It’s a chance to make an impact on our city as well as its people and their experience of space. We create activations both digital and sculptural as well as full immersive environments on a diverse range of projects both nationally and internationally within the built environment.

The position will involve the design and project management of a number of projects within our team. Projects include environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding and exhibition design. You will be working alongside our multi-disciplinary team who have experience in interiors, architecture, exhibition design, graphic design, illustration and industrial design.

Environmental and wayfinding experience is preferable. Ideally you will have at least five years’ experience in a similar role, and be able to confidently manage a project from concept design through to completion. You will need to have experience in wayfinding projects, managing and working in teams, a keen eye for detail and love for ensuring drawing packages are 100% before being sent out.

This role is for a motivated individual with a background in either architecture, interior, industrial or graphic design with a keen interest in managing projects and facilitating the creative process to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Our studio is in a converted warehouse space in Alexandria, close to Green Square station and great amenities.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Passion about design and driving the process through strategy and design, whilst not necessarily undertaking the design work yourself
• Love of architecture, interiors, graphics, and management
• Able to prioritise and manage your time to deliver on multiple projects
• Strong organisational skills and a good understanding of finances
• Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, so being open, positive, and working as a team comes naturally to you
• A minimum of five years design management or project management experience
